The Great 2025
UFO, WIP, NYS
Challenge

Whether it's a UFO, WIP (Work In Progress), or NYS (Not Yet Started) project, let's have some fun while turning our To Do lists into TA DONE!

  1. Pick up a list at a Guild Meeting or Click on the button at the bottom of this page to download or print the form.

  2. Write the name of a UFO, WIP, and/or NYS you'd like to complete this year on each line. Put the list where you can refer to it easily. (I keep mine in my day planner.)

  3. Each month, a Program Coordinator will draw a number between 1 and 12.  Whatever project you have written onthat line is the project you get to work on during the next four weeks.

  4. Bring your completed project to the next meeting so that we can celebrate your accomplishment with you during Show & Tell.

  5. A Program Coordinator will draw a different number each month and the cycle repeats until November.  Out last UFO/WIP/NYS celebration will be at the December Member Appreciation Party.

Q&A:  If you have other questions, ask Andrea...  andreafriend@gmail.com

  1. What if the number drawn interferes with a vacation or life happens?  No worries; your remaining "Free" space has got you.  Just swat that Free space into that month, e.g., if we draw #7 for the month you're on an epic vacay, just make "Free" your #7 and make the former #7 the new #12.

  2. If I have donation quilts that need quilting and/or binding, is it OK to ask a guild member for help?  Yes! Several members have signed up to quilt or bind donation quilts.  Check with one of the Guild Officers for more information.

  3. What if the quilt is a gift or I'm planning to keep it?  It's OK to pay someone to quilt the item for you.

  4. What if I take a workshop in 2025 and don't complete the project during the workshop?  That's OK - that incomplete project can be a new WIP.

Line 10 was drawn at the March Meeting!
Plan on bringing that completed quilt to the April Guild Meeting!
