The High Desert Vibes name evokes images of the twin slot canyons of Antelope Canyon in northern Arizona. Cibolo Creek Quilters Guild member Linda Heatherley interpreted “Antelope Canyon” by Laurie Shifrin Designs in vibrant colors reminiscent of the high desert. The custom quilting emulates the swirls and undulations of the canyon’s Navajo Sandstone, which was originally created by ancient and vast desert sand dunes.
